Hammi’s Kitchen is more than a brand — it’s a tribute to heritage, family, and the belief that food made with love tastes better. Founded by Oak Lo, known affectionately as “Hammi” to her grandchildren, our mission is to share clean, comforting Korean-inspired recipes with families everywhere.
Oak Lo spent decades traveling the world with her husband, a diplomat, raising children and serving guests across continents. Wherever she went, her Korean cooking followed — especially the less-sweet, lovingly prepared dishes passed down through generations.
Her grandchildren couldn’t pronounce Halmoni (the Korean word for grandmother), so they called her Hammi. The name stuck, and so didher food.
During the pandemic, with more people cooking at home and her grandchildren growing old enough to bake, Oak saw the perfect moment to share her recipes more widely. Hammi’s Kitchen was born.
We never use artificial preservatives, colors, or flavors. If we wouldn’t serve it to our kids, we won’t serve it to you.
Inspired by Korean and Japanese baking traditions, our products are delicately sweet — designed to enhance, not overpower.
Though rooted in Korean heritage, our flavors are made to appeal to everyone — whether you grew up with these recipes or are just discovering them.
At Hammi’s Kitchen, we’re building more than food — we’re preserving memory, celebrating tradition, and inviting you into the family. Whether you’re decorating cupcakes with your kids, hosting friends, or sneaking a spoonful of mousse after dinner, we hope you feel the warmth and care that went into every pouch.
This is how Hammi fed us. Now, it’s your turn.
