Add 1 pint of heavy whipping cream per serving size of frosting. Fold in the mixture with a spatula until powder is moist.
Start mixing with a hand or stand mixer on a low setting. As the mixture thickens, increase speed to medium high and mix until the frosting is thick and stands in soft peaks.
Want it firmer? Keep whisking. Want it softer? Use less. It’s flexible and foolproof.
Do not overmix!
Frosting will last 3 days, refrigerated. It can also be used as a mousse and is delicious as a dessert topping as well.
